Redbird is drawing on long experience of travel in S. India and is designing a series of new itineraries, showcasing Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the beautiful South.
The first new S. India itinerary draws on 16 visits to S. India over 17 years and begins in Kerala at Cochin, then a plantation experience in the high jungle of Wayanad, then the hill station of Ooty in Tamil Nadu. Next come Dindigul and Madurai where the Meenakshi Temple (above), South India’s largest Hindu temple is located. Then you cross the Western Ghats and head back into Kerala for the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, then cruise the beautiful backwaters and finally relax at palm-fringed Marari Beach.
